Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery

Siôn is a Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Oxford. He is also a Consultant at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.

Siôn trained in Cambridge, London and Oxford. He specializes in hip arthroscopy (keyhole surgery of the hip) and hip replacement. Siôn leads the Oxford Hip Preservation and Young Adult Hip Units (patients aged less than 55 years). He leads a program of research at Oxford University dedicated to the prevention and treatment of hip osteoarthritis. Operations performed: Hip arthroscopy, joint preservation surgery of the hip (including labral repair/reconstruction/cartilage repair/regeneration), hip replacement, revision (repeat) hip replacements.
