Prof Glyn-Jones has been sitting on the Urgent Public Health Group since the beginning of the pandemic.
This group has reviewed all clinical trials in the UK since the start of the pandemic (1500+). It has enabled world leading trials of new Covid treatments and vaccines to get going in the UK. This has placed the NIHR and Oxford at the forefront of the global effort in fighting Covid-19.
